I hired him into the position of Chair of the IRB at Grand View several years ago and his leadership and vision for our IRB were truly transformative. I came to know Dr. Lamberthwhen he joined a pediatric practice across the street from Grand View and my children became his patients. He was a wonderful pediatrician in a practice that was heavily involved in research by serving as a site for studies. My children were participants in those studies and he was kind and gentle and extremely informative every step of the way. When I was searching for an IRB Chair in my administrative position (and eventually the CEO position) at Grand View, Dr. Lamberth was an obvious and enthusiastic choice. It wasn’t an easy job, but it became an exceptional IRB with his leadership, knowledge, and collegial spirit.
